“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.” Abraham Lincoln
Humanity has always acknowledged the invisible factor that influences things for better or for worse. That is why we were never sure of many things. We call it luck, chance, or God.
God is invisible. All created things can’t see their creator. Cars, planes, even the most sophisticated inventions like robots, don’t really know our existence or fully understand us without us helping them by pouring data and program them to identify us. For them we don’t exist. Thus, understanding the existence of God requires us to go beyond what we see.
Therefore, we can’t rule out God because we don’t see Him. If we are to find Him, we must look for Him and see what the evidence suggests. As a creature, we have a limited capability to know God our creator fully by ourselves. Like a cell in a body, we can’t tell exactly where we are in the universe or if there is a thing called God, though we live in Him. For us to say there is no God is like a cell is saying there are no human beings. What do we know? There are innumerable planets and unexplored space. As the Stoic Greek poet said, “In God we live and have our being”.
The things we see are made of invisible things. Two hundred years ago, people believed there is no world beyond the matter we see. However, in 1808, John Dalton, a devout Christian one of the strictest Christian sects discovered the atom. Suddenly there was a world of excitable electrons and stable protons. For a scientist the chair you are sitting is buzzing with electrons. And electrons are the liveliest things in the creation. Therefore, we can’t say there is no life or world beyond what we can see.
It is all energy – compacted and arranged energy. 95% of the energy or stuff in the universe is invisible. The most solid thing we see is made of the most fluid thing, which is an atom. The hard rock is made of the most invisible things ever – electrons and protons. The visible is the compression of invisible things. Compressed air is liquid, compressed liquid is solid. It shows everything is made of things that are invisible. This means our origin is from invisible things. As Paul wrote it in the Bible 2000 years ago “what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
